38. Well according to published reports Babs and Poppy went to play

golf the day after their daughter Robin died. They then flew home to Texas and let a family friend handle the details for a funeral that they didn't attend. The also didn't bother to inform big brother Georgy that his sister was ill and had in fact had died until after the fact. Think I read that in Kitty Kelley's book on the BFEE.

I wouldn't credit Babs' white hair to mourning but to flat out evilness that creeps out of every damn pore of her being.

What did she do to end up looking 20 years older than her husband? Smoke? Too much time in the sun? I ask this so that women everywhere can learn...She was 21 when she gave birth to her little chimp. Chimpy was born in 1946, Jebbie in 1953, Doro in 1959. Babs was born in 1925. Based on Doro and her puberty, I'm going to place this picture around 1971. My God, that would put Babs around 46 at the time this picture was taken.

I just turned 46, and, oh, maybe about twice a year, with the right lighting, I still get carded. The last time was at Publix back this summer...

"Bar" does look old, but I've seen pictures of my grandmother when she was in her 40s, and she looked exactly the same then as she does now (and she's in her 80s now).

Poppy's the only one who looks decent here, IMO. The boys' ties are either blowing in the wind, or purposefully brushed back to make some kind of weird fashion statement. Doro and Bar aren't even looking at the camera, Marvin's got those hideous striped pants, and Chimpy couldn't even put his smoke down for a damn picture.

With their Poppy and their Grandma...I mean Momma Barbara. J/K...actually, my maternal grandfather had a similar aging trend as Barbara. He looked about same when he was in his 80's when he died, as he did when he was in his late 50's (except just a little older looking with being more hunched over and having more wrinkles.)
