The truth about Democratic 08 Presidential Candidates
The truth is we have a wonderful array of candidates to choose from! While we may all have preferences, we all know deep down in our blue hearts that almost all of the potential contenders would make excellent Presidents! We also realize the biggest majority of those who have been mentioned have elect-ability! Most of them work for Democratic ideals and principles and would undoubtedly work for our interests.

I propose we lay down the swords and work together to help make the 2008 election a success. We can start with placing our efforts into election reform including pushing for hand counted voter verified paper ballots. Without a fair and honest election system in place prior to the election, it won't matter much *who* the candidate is.

I also propose we *lobby* our party leaders to pressure all Democratic contenders to deter mudslinging against other Democratic candidates. Also, when a front runner is evident, pull the party together behind that candidate so we can lead into the election with more of a united front.

We all have certain concerns regarding certain candidates, but for the good of the party we need to quit throwing mud without proof. Since most accusations are without evidence, we need to keep our ears open and realize the right wing may be the one tossing the accusations to inhibit some candidates from entering the race.

Be proud we have so many great ones to choose from. Look at the opposition, what do they have? Newt - na, he isn't a viable candidate. Giuliano - na, the masses don't want a NY Ex-Mayor to run the country. McCain - na, when it comes down to it, people are going to associate him with the leader they all hate (W). So, unless a republic comes out of the wood work... they don't stand a chance against us.

Let's be proud, let's be honest about our potential candidates...

We have a wonderful group of them!
