Reporter said that in church services this morning, bush heard the preacher give what seemed like advice on Iraq....the preacher said that Repentance Requires the Courage to Change Direction. Don't know if the preacher said that because of Iraq or not, but ABC reporting it in that way was quite amusing. bush is such an amusing shit, isn't he?

i Texas there is literally NO appeal, the witnesses could not be called because only new evidence could be used in an appeal.. and the appeal judges make up to $150,000 dollars a year and they KNOW if they hear a death penalty appeal they will be replace the next day and lost their cushy job..

the first death penalty case overturned by DNA evidence had to have a legislative bill passed to allow his release, there was no law to allow it.. the legislature only meets every 2 years.. unfortunately it was an election year and no one would offer the bill for fear they would look soft on crime and he spent 3 years in prison after being found Innocent before the bill was passed.. and * was not going to pardon him..
