So Donald H. Rumsfeld is back in Baghdad, where he helped arm
Saddam (and others) in 1982
http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/NSAEBB/NSAEBB82/

and delivered a Commando Solo II mission broadcast in 2003 "Message to the People of Iraq"
http://www.defenselink.mil/transcripts/2003/tr20030430-secdef0138.html

Maybe he's renewing old business ties with corporations like Gilead Science
http://www.gilead.com/wt/sec/pr_933190157/#uphere

Or thinking about The Downing Street Memo
http://www.afterdowningstreet.org/?q=node/1

or remembering the interview with Bob Woodward
http://cryptome.org/bob-v-don.htm

or making remarks about his "force transfomation" even though that DoD Office is closed now (like so many others) and the revolution in military affairs...

Baghdad, where "shock and awe" and exotic weapons and tactics have led to chaos and civil war and hundreds of thousands of innocent civilian casualties, over 2,930 US kia and thousands more disabled...

Baghdad, where other traitors and war criminals and profiteers gathered like Ahmed Chalabi, Henry Kissinger, Adnan Khashoggi...

Baghdad, where intelligence operatives from ME countries encouraged and instructed the DoD employed mercenaries in torture, assassination, rape and other war crimes that involved elements of our armed forces-while taking all the money they could steal and abusing our troops in many ways

Baghdad, home of Abu Ghraib...

Rumsfeld, who called loyal patriotic Americans that spoke against the invasion and occupation of Iraq "nazi appeasers" yet the outgoing SecDef and many of the inner circle of the Decider's administration are admirers of the Third Reich-and the real Nazis and Nazi partisans that were given jobs in US national security to fight godless communism found a home in the RW of The Republican Party...
"Hey RUMSFELD! Who's your NAZI?"
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=364x2039009

What else can we say about Donald H. Rumsfeld and his return to Baghdad???

I loathe him and hope he winds up dying in a prison cell for his crimes.

5. Right next to Aldrich Ames, or maybe in Milosevic's old cell.
Either one would be entirely appropriate.

3. And don't forget: Saddam's nephew was busted outta jail
by a guy in a police uniform.

Rummy looking for another strong-man to put in charge so the GOP can blow out of the place, declare victory and put the problem off for another generation?

4. Baghdad, where some of our troops are into their 3rd and 4th tours
after "Mission Accomplished"...

Baghdad, where "freedom is on the march..."

Yep, havocmom, maybe Donald H. Rumsfeld is delivering personal messages from the BFEE in Baghdad-that thought crossed my mind too.

6. Now, did Rumsfeld arm Saddam before or after Gates armed Iran?

"In 1991, despite doubts about Gates's honesty over Iran-Contra and other scandals, the career intelligence officer brushed aside accusations that he played secret roles in arming both sides of the Iran-Iraq War. Since then, however, documents have surfaced that raise new questions about Gates's sweeping denials.

For instance, the Russian government sent an intelligence report to a House investigative task force in early 1993 stating that Gates participated in secret contacts with Iranian officials in 1980 to delay release of 52 U.S. hostages then held in Iran, a move to benefit the presidential campaign of Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush.

"R Gates, at that time a staffer of the National Security Council in the administration of Jimmy Carter, and former CIA Director George Bush also took part" in a meeting in Paris in October 1980, according to the Russian report, which meshed with information from witnesses who have alleged Gates's involvement in the Iranian gambit."

8. There were simultaneous and overlapping operations involving
the usual BFEE suspects, especially that old war criminal Henry Kissinger.

The late Texas Democratic Congressman Henry Gonzalez wanted to impeach Poppy. Rep. Gonzalez knew a lot about the corruption of the BFEE, Iran/Contra and the black budget networks, he had this read into The Congressional Record in 1991

"Kissinger Associates, BNL, and Iraq"
http://www.fas.org/spp/starwars/congress/1991/h910502g.htm

Then there's "BCCI and Kissinger Associates"
http://www.fas.org/irp/congress/1992_rpt/bcci/20kiss.htm

Yes, Bobby Gates is BFEE, but there is so much more blood and treachery around Rumsfeld that one tends to overlook Mr. Gates crimes-at first.

9. His security team should let him mix with the troops, it would lift
that "fog of war" he's lost in real quick, one would think. He's quite likely setting up some kind of shit for Cheney et al.
