5. Hastert's farewell speech was just delusional.

He thinks he's done a fine job and that bit about the Visitor's Center having a film in it about how wonderful this Congress' accomplishments were was pathetic. I'm glad to see them go. Now we have a chance to turn this around. Dems don't fail us now.

9. I would also suggest that the collective "We The People" need

to remind our newly Democratic congress why they are now the majority. I plan on writings letters at least twice a week to remind them - we'll be watching. Every. Fricking. Move.

My congresscritter Steven Lynch (D-MA09) loves the war and is more like Lieberman than a Democrat. I don't have high hopes he will see the writing on the wall. For every Lynch, there others that will pay attention. Those folks need to hear from us, early and often.
