Can someone please explain why Diebold stock is still going up?
Given the many failures in this last election and that there will undoubtedly be a change for 2008, why isn't the stock price falling? Something I'm missing?

3. Yah, I guess so. Just seems like they should be maxed out on the
bank machine business and the loss of voting machine money should affect their bottom line.

7. A Tiny Part
Diebold is the world's largest manufacturer of security systems for banks. The drive up windows, ATM machines, firewalls for by-wire transactions, security camera systems for the inside of banks, etc. The next time you go to the bank, i would say there is a 40% (minimum) that the drive up window is made by Diebold.

2. Voting machinesare just2% of their business. I bet if you look the next time
you visit an ATM, you'll see the nameDieboldon the front. I think THAT
S one of the reasons many people thoughttheir voting mahcines would be great! They have many years experience designing and building ATM's, and i know I've never had one make a mistake!

8. And didn't I hear
that they were thinking of getting out of the voting machine buis. altogether?

Anyway, I'm glad they still have plenty of money to pay back all of the counties that bought their crap defective machines.
