Apparently, there are any number of Republicans who think that homosexuals should not be allowed to be parents.

Who have we got on record saying as much?

1. Well, growing up a "Cheney" is surely child abuse...
Second only to growing up a "Bush"...

2. Well, they certainly wouldn't be allowed to adopt in most states
And Mary's father is a drunk and careless with firearms, and in fact has already shot one person.....I'm thinking Child Protective Services might need to look into this situation....

just sayin

5. absolutely not!
1. it's her child -- even a descendent of Dick Cheney may someday come to know a mother's love for her child

2. keeping her child will alienate the GOP's theofascist base (like you said, make a list of republicans who advocated orphaning the children of LGBTs, check it twice, and stick that wedge smack in the middle of their party's stocking)

3. keeping her child will help to normalize the concept of homosexual parenting among moderates and even some social conservatives

6. I'll go on record and say that I wouldn't mind Mary getting a visit from child services
If she's going to support an administration like her dad's that relied on fear-mongering the homosexual agenda to get people to vote for them, she ought to reap some of the consequences from it.

8. Here's what the Family Research Council thinks about it...

They also wrote an amicus brief against gay foster parents in an Arkansas case and they've taken many other stands against gay parenting.

And Dobson had this to say: http://www.scienceblog.com/community/older/archives/K/2...
