David Gergen said that [the Administration] has been less than
honest with the American people on how things are going in Iraq.

Oh reeeeeeeally? (No Shit, Sherlock).

Come on, Gergen. Spill your guts and call them what they are: "Liars."

1. less than honest = dishonest
cowardly words
Gergen can go fly a kite, he's acting all 'fair and balanced' now that the ship appears to be sinking but I remember well his supportive excited words for bush's selection and the home invasion of Iraq.

4. He's just a bit late to the party
Since everyone already knows that. I dare say even the backwash knows, they just think lying is a good thing as long as it's a Republican delivering the lie.

5. I get a real kick out of seeing Gergen abandoning the cabal
He's such an "elder statesman" and because he's worked for both Thug and Dem admins, he carries a certain amount of "gravitas" (ick! Hate that word!) so when he turns on them, it packs a whallop.

Now, come on, David, take the final plunge and say it: they're LIARS!

11. I never got the impression he was all that impressed ...
... with the Chimp and the evil cabal. He's a conservative but I'm not sure he's at the level of the Chimp.

6. Look, He Gets His Paychecks Only From Republicans
(including Clinton, of course)

He's being honest but diplomatic.

7. I saw Gergen speak in St. Louis several years ago
and he is no fan of Mr. Bush's administration.

9. no one seems to want to say the words "lie" or "liar" when describing Bush
he manipulates, over or under estimates, exxagerates, stretches, etc...

but they won't call it lying.
