IF Bush cared about bipartisanship--cared about this country--he would nominate
Bill Clinton to take Bolton's place at the UN.
The world would love it. THAT would be the only lasting good legacy of this failed Presidency.

2. I vaguely recalled some discussion about that scenario being something
that President Clinton was actively campaigning for back before the 04 election.

3. Wrong on premise
The first five words of the topic line are wrong. * does not care. He is incapable of thought, diplomacy, and reason. He is a lesser evolved chimpanzee.

4. If Bush cared about this country, he would resign
At least Nixon had the common sense to resign, and Nixon's crimes pale in comparison to this president's.

6. I doubt BC would take the job! He's having a great time doing what
HE wants to do whenever HE wants to. I don't think he would want to be tied down to a mandatory job like that.

7. Drudge says (yeah, yeah, I know it's drudge) George Mitchell
is on the short list to named as ambassador to the UN. I don't believe it, but wouldn't that be just fantastic?

8. He's never done anything in a bi-partisan way. Only his way.
And even if he got a clue that bi-partisanship would be a good thing, his jealousy of Clinton's obvious superior diplomatic/communication skills would preclude him from ever allowing Clinton a stage to work from. Bush is a very insecure, little man and would never allow Clinton an opportunity to remind us of how far we've fallen with the Bush selection.

9. No matter how hard they tried..they could never make Clinton be
less than popular and inspiring. They'll never put him somewhere with a platform. He is too powerful. Cause he actually connects to people and cares.

10. Um... you are aware that he's not bipartisan.... right?
Just because he learned to use the word bipartisan doesn't mean he knows what it means or actively practices it.
