Condi Speak tonight on NBC news.
Very rough quotes.

Brain Williams, "Was is not a snub to the President who traveled all that way to have
a meeting with Prime Minister Maliki for the meeting to be postponed on such short
notice?"

Condi, (with glued on smile) "Of course it wasn't because the Prime Minister had
a very successful BILATERAL MEETING with the King of Jordan WE didn't think a
TRILATERAL MEETING was needed at that time. Also the Prime Minister had a good
BILATERAL MEETING with the President of Jordan and WE thought a TRILATERAL MEETING
of the principals would have duplicated their fine efforts."

Good Lord the President of the United States flies 1/2 round the world for a publicly
announced meeting with a man who the President has called an alley in his war on
terror and is told at the last minute that the meeting has been postponed and that
is not a snub?

Condi is pathological in her ability to lie.

Other Presidential Meetings that were not canceled.

1. Williams didn't directly contradict her

(They still don't have the balls to go that far) - but he did intersperse her lies with the actual truth. In between her lies, they interjected that:
A) As opposed to what she said, Bush and Al Maliki were cool toward each other - she'd stated they have a ":wonderful relationship" OWTTE
B) Nothing had changed re us standing down as they stand up - she'd just said things were changing, they were standing up.

Interesting.

2. Actually hard to fault al Maliki's posturing. Bush flies home, Maliki flies back to Baghdad.
Big difference.

There doesn't seem to be much there, there, as far as anything substantive goes anyway. Mainly a show and tell for the home folks.

3. Condi is a pathetic and weak person
Why else would she feel the need to lie so frequently?
