What's Wrong with the Democrats?
Edited on Tue Nov-28-06 07:02 PM by louis c
Three whole weeks since the the election, and the U.S. is still stuck in Iraq.

What assholes are in the MSM. Nora O'Donnell has the be the biggest jerk.

How can anyone ask for a Democratic plan to end the fighting in Iraq now?

First off, they aren't even in yet. WTF, give me a f*ckin' break.

Secondly, they are the legislative branch. Has anyone read the Constitution? Advise and consent. anybody hear of that?

Who said, "I'm the decider"? It sure wasn't Nancy Pelosi.

This same bunch of assholes who blamed clinton for 9/11 because they had been in office "for only nine months", want the Democrats to solve Iraq even before they get in.

It follows the same Repuke pattern. Clinton had a good economy for 8 years because George the first handed it to him. George the second had a lousy economy because Clinton screwed it up, even though he created 10 million jobs and had a budget surplus.

al Queda was Clinton's fault, even though he warned the Bush II Administration that it was the single greatest threat to national security during the transition.

Now, after 6 years of absolute rule, and f*cking everything up absolutely, the Repukes want the Dems to fix everything the way it was even before they're inaugurated.

Who the f*ck falls for this sh*t?

3. .....every time!
Don't forget, the real rubbish will start as soon as they plant their butts in their chairs after taking the oath of office.

Nobody in the media will point out that it's a cry for help from the GOP, who have been clueless for 12 years for all their boasting of revolutions and contracts with America.

They fucked up and they're screaming for the Democrats to clean up their messes.

2. MSNBC
somebody has to tell them to get off the "it's either gonna be Hillary or Obama in '08" bandwagon-they should think about checking in here once in a while and they'd see-it'll be neither

6. I wanted someone to do a "comic strip" so much ...
Guy A sits there, watching Guy B build a house - timeline shows months going by.

Finally, Guy B finishes the house. Stands back and looks at it.

Guy A walks over, lights a match, and burns down the house in 10 seconds flat.

Guy A looks at Guy B and asks him - "So, what are YOUR plans to fix this?"

7. Those assholes are only interested in power and $
Even though every time they get into power they wreck everything, they think they have the market on competence and are desperate to prove it. They simply cannot accept and admit that they are incapable of the intellectual leap it takes to handle a government of people.

They also understand something else-people don't vote on the issues. They do not sit down and evaluate the candidates and the need for specific talent.

The way people vote is by emotion-they go through that bullshit about who they would want to get drunk with or who is prettier or who they would like to sleep with or who they like better and that's how they vote.

There are, of course, some, primarily democrats, who actually do think ahead, but most people just make decisions emotionally and then justify that decision later. Lousy way to run a railroad, but that's the way it is and the opinion makers know that better than I do. They are busy trying to win a popularity contest.

I think the folks are starting to get it.

9. The press and pundits

are going through de-Nazification, but it's taking a while.

Okay, slight exaggeration, but these people (and the part of their audience they understand) are used to being treated badly/ordered around and not having to think for themselves, and being able to ignore the world changing around them.

Now they desperately want Democrats to play to their need for authority and easy answers, and they also need to cover for how little grasp they have for the width and depth of big picture issues, i.e. reality. So they have to ask questions that sound "reasonable" but assume all the wrong things about how things really work.
