PAPILLION, Neb. (AP) -- Former state Senator Ray Mossey missed a court hearing today, which the judge says has earned Mossey some jail time -- once he turns up.
Mossey was supposed to show the judge how he's followed the terms of his probation for a 2005 conviction of drunken driving.
But when Mossey didn't appear at the hearing, Judge Robert Wester of Sarpy County Court said that Mossey would have to serve 10 days in jail.
Mossey is believed to be living in Texas, under the probation watch of Texas officials.
His drunken-driving probation was to end December 12th.
