VICHY DEMOCRATS -- The list
"At long last Senator, have you lost all sense of
shame."

Apparently not, at least not for those listed below who voted
for cloture
on the Alito nomination.

HA	Akaka
MT	Baucus
NM	Bingaman
WV	Byrd
WA	Cantwell
DE	Carper
ND	Conrad
ND	Dorgan
HA	Inouye
SD	T. Johnson
WI	Kohl
LA	Landrieu
AR	B. Lincoln
CT	Lieberman
FL	Nelson (FL)
NE	Nelson (NE)
AR	Pryor

They are of no use politically to us or anybody else, none.

6. Hillary, Biden, and Bayh joined the rest
All 3 of them want to be President, and all 3 of them realized
that had they voted for cloture, their Presidential campaign
would have died tonight.

The main thing is that John Kerry, who will run in 2008, has
shown the leadership and political courage that is going to
take to win.

2. Thanks. Duly noted.
A campaign donation will be headed to their respective
Democratic challengers, and if I can't find a Democratic
challenger, I will find a Green Party challenger (etc.).

5. I sent DNC notice to remove me from all lists. I'll pick myself, only me
choosing who gets the bling bling. And I praised Dr. Dean for
all he's done but noted that he's surrounded by a bunch of
Mandarins at DNC and surrender monkey office holders.

What part of 46% oppose (without Roe entering the equation)
and 56% oppose when told, he may over turn Roe.

They are such losers. Lord...and a shoud out to
Hawaii...:wtf:

10. I did likewise with the DNC mailings.
I told them I would no longer be contributing any money to any
blanket Democratic organization from which any of the Senators
in the list above (I didn't use the Vichy label, but those are
the ones) might receive contributions. I said they betrayed
us, and were of no use politically, none.

33. This is what I did after to '04 election...
I no longer give to any entity who then decides who gets my
money. (I can't tell you how many people are pissed to the max
about donating to Byrd thru MoveOn, and having him go w/ the
Repubs yesterday....) After the debacle of the last election,
I notified everyone to take me off their lists, and I donate
what little $$$ I have to people and causes I directly
support. If I get a call from the DNC, I say NO, and tell them
WHY. If I get a plea in the mail, I send it back on their dime
with a big red NO on the envelope.

Time to take this Party back, and there is no better way to do
that than to take responsibility for funding ONLY the
candidates we know will vote our best interests and respresent
us as they are elected to do. We need to be adults.

The current Senator Pryor wasn't around when they voted on
NAFTA -that was in 1993. The current Senator Pryor was only
elected in 2002. It was his father who voted for NAFTA

cloture traitors in bold
confirmation traitors in italics

Can we see that betraying us is a PATTERN for a lot of these
Senators? We deal too much with one issue, but look at
this....can anyone justify not voting with the Democrats LESS
THAN 50% of the time. That is not a moderate...that is a
Bushco right-winger, only this time an enabler.

38. This needs a bump
Which of the bottom-dwellers are up for re-election in
November, and facing a credible challenger in a primary?
Somebody smarter than me must know that...

I would like to donate money to whoever that primary
challenger might be.

I think it is important that these Senators understand that
they CAN be replaced. We can't replace all the
bottom-dwellers, but we probably don't need to, to send a
wake-up call.
