Ha Ha ===Homosexuals are bed-wetters and hate to fly....
er...according to the military.

Pentagon guidelines that classified homosexuality as a mental disorder now put it among a list of conditions or "circumstances" that range from bed-wetting to fear of flying.

The new rules are related to the military's retirement practices. The change does not affect the "don't ask, don't tell" policy that prohibits officials from inquiring about the sex lives of service members and requires discharges of those who openly acknowledge being gay.

17. I am terrified when I fly ...
... I think I wet the bed as a small child.

I'm glad the military has clarified my sexuality ... I foolishly thought I was heterosexual.

Ah, well.

5. The United States Military is a hateful, homophobic environment.
And it appears you have the same sort of attitudes.

This is nothing more than justification of bigotry. Unless you've been living in a cave all of your life, it is very well known how homophobic the United States Armed Forces are and how they engender these kind of attitudes. If you or anyone else thinks "Don't Ask Don'T Tell" is going to be repealed anytime soon, then those people are living in Fantasyland.

7. There are times that our military "intelligence" is quite the oxymoron.
All the advancement and technology in the world still, at times, can't cure stupid.

8. Hah! Fear of flying? That's a good one.
I never liked flying, yet I joined the Air Force in 1969, stayed in for four years and flew all over the place. Actually, on my way to Vietnam, I was so nervous about going to Vietnam, I completely forgot my fear of flying, even though the airplane lost an engine, that had to be replaced in Japan.

"Bullshit, invalid!"

11. It boils down to quota.
I got accepted into the military with a history of Rheumatic Fever, but my brother got rejected because he had mild acne on his back.

It's all quota and when they get desperate enough, they'll accept anyone. They will get desperate if John McCain has his way.

Now, they're accepting overweight, out of shape 42 year olds.

One of my relatives thinks Elton John is an inferior musician because he's queer. Go figure.

18. Gotta agree: stupid yes, funny no....
...and goodness knows I love to laugh at miliary foolishness.

But when you're the one being persecuted by a "stupid" law, somehow laughing at its stupidity doesn't help much.

On the other hand, maybe if enough people mock the military for its stupidity and mistreatment of gays, we'll make some progress in our lifetimes....

20. I think the gay porn industry has been mocking them for years.
Where would they get their actors if not for The Army, Navy and Marines? Who cares about the Air Force, they're dorks anyway.
