I'll be honest. I play in too many of the other sites. DU was the first and only fof far too long.









This is the site for us. We/they deserve our support. I know how many fights we have had but in the end I'm so thankful for DU.

I know about those other sites. They deserve credit for what they have done. None of us should put aside this crazy fight club. I think we are the future.

We can all pretend that we are working for change and donating. We are not unless we donate. All the other sites have too many restrictions. This is the one where we can fight it out. This is the crazy site and I'm so proud to be a member. I'm a very ceonservative member of this community, but I'm proud to be a member.

it's my "home" on the internet . . . monitoring DU on a daily basis keeps me informed of what's happening in the world -- because as soon as something happens anywhere, it's posted here by someone or other . . . for stories/issues of particular interest, I just follow the links to originating sites generously posted by DUers . . .

furthermore, I am absolutely convinced that DU played a significant role in the Democratic victory on November 7 . . . in my own Congressional district, for example, John Hall beat entrenched incumbent Sue Kelly by just a few thousand votes, raising most of is campaign funds from small, individual donations . . . I know that many here donated to John's campaign and contributed in some measure to his victory . . .

if you haven't yet donated, please do it today . . . DU is a unique and valuable resource for all of us that we should support as generously as we individually can . . .
