Given the sort of things that happen to kid's stuffed toys I would think this could be a tad sacriligous.

I have to admit though as a child I played with the Nativity scene figures especially the animals. We had to replace Baby Jesus a few times because we'd always hide him before Christmas so he could be put in the manger on Christmas morning and inevitably we'd forget where we put him or the cats would find him and bat him around the living room.

By the way, I think the doll with the funny beard is St. Joseph who's usually shown with a Shepherds crook for reasons that I've never understood since the man was a carpenter by trade.
