2. It's a sham alright......
after wading through the morass of Part D insurers last year I received a letter from my insurer, Humana, that next years premiums will increase 314% as well as a co-pay hike if $10 per prescription. How many seniors aren't even going to bother to check their plans thinking that everything will remain the same, or just give up because they don't want to go through the hassle of doing it all over again every year?
So.....now I'm going to have to wade through the Part D swamp again to find another insurer for my prescription drugs.
Thanks, George Bush for that wonderful drug program you gave to the drug companies and insurers. :grr:

3. I have seen and heard about InHUMANA raising their premiums.
This problem happened with the HMOs in the late 1990's too. One couldn't count on an HMO for more than a years with their raising premiums and also leaving the country leaving seniors and disabled people to hurriedly look for another HMO.

The Republicans in my view appear a group of misanthropes.
