Krugman on Lieberman..."Mr. Lieberman won only through denial and deception"
..snip

"What about Joe Lieberman? Like shipwreck survivors clinging to flotsam, some have seized on his reelection as proof of Americans’ continuing conservatism. But Mr. Lieberman won only through denial and deception, for example, by rewriting the history of his once-fervent support for the Iraq war and Donald Rumsfeld. He got two-thirds of the Republican vote, but managed to confuse enough Democrats about his positions to get over the top."

1. He got 70% Rethug votes, 33% Dem votes
The Regressives put Traitor in office, not the Dems.

2. The election is over and politics today is ANYTHING but rational.......
Joe has 'said' HE is voting with 'US' and NOW is the time to put 'OUR' animosity behind 'US' so that 'WE' can move our Democratic agenda forward; "WE' are NOT going to be able to do IT without HIM!!

4. Joe has stated that he will caucus with the Democrats..........
on nationally televised shows, post election returns. There are MORE issues than 'the illegitimate bushco war' for which NOBODY has a SOLUTION. Joe makes '51' and without HIM we're back to '50', with vice-criminal cheney as the tiebreaker. Is THAT what ANY of 'US' want?? It is time to GET REAL!!

5. I will never put aside my animosity towards Lieberman (CFL-CT)
He's a war criminal supported by the Regressives. I plan on sending him military enlistment forms so he can sacrifice his kids to that hell hole he helped create in Iraq.

7. Unfortunately MANY Democrats ENABLED bushco to engage.......
in HIS heinous inexcusable Iraq war; 'WE' ALL wish that IT had been different. Joe 'makes' US the majority in the Senate, without HIM 'WE' lose THAT POWER. Time to embrace Joe and work toward OUR important goals!!

9. Stop being Traitor Joe's hostage.
Holy Joe is not to be trusted on anything. Cognitive dissonance is at work as well as Stockholm Syndrome if the hostage beleives what the current captor is saying when all that has gone before was verbal violence and assorted LIES. Joementum is a proven sore loser, traitor, slimeball and wholly owned republican whore. Joementum only has ANY legitamacy is if he can be close to the power America gave REAL DEMOCRATS with a D after there name. Holy Joe is sanctimoniously counting on republicans being united - ain't happening. Republicans have to work with Democrats and ratfink Joe to get something done. Joe needs his bluff called. Besides its a poison pill Harry gave Joe if he takes that chairmanship. Perfect irony for the corporate whore Joe has always been. If he swallows the pill he can't cut his own throat because he has nothing to offer republicans except more corruption and dishonor. Holy Joe has a brand image prolem that switching doesn't solve. Call the asshole on his bluff now or make him swallow the poison pill in the form of a Chairmanship.
