I've seen some RW blaming Dave along with other comedians for somehow "spoiling it" for Republicans. But how can anyone claim Dave is a Liberal? Has he ever given Clinton a "free pass"? NO! He went after Clinton whenever he felt there was a joke there.

Likewise with GWB.

Likewise with O'Liely.

Dave has never expressed a political opinion on the air. However, he hasn't hesitated to point out when some people's version of reality is laughably inaccurate.

How does this make him a "Liberal"? He's just a comedian.

9. Dave Was The First To Really Slam Booooshie Boy

It started when Letterman invited boooosh on the show and the asshat did this:



wiping his glasses on an assistant...and was a real ass during the interview. Next came the video Letterman showed of a boooosh rally with the little kid getting antsy...the next day the White House claimed the video had been doctored. Letterman took both the White House & CNN to task for lying about it and from then on Dave's been on a non-stop anti-booosh tear.

Dave is most definitely a liberal and I dare say a Progressive. Look at the people he has on and his interviews with people like Al Gore and Bill Clinton showed a rare glimpse at his political side. Also the fact he hates the right wing spewers like O'Reilly. Now connect some dots.

Virtually all great comedians have been liberal/progressives...the irony that is essential to their humor can only incubate in the hypocrisies of the right wing. We get all the great comics...the wingnuts get Dennis Miller and Drew Carry.

Yes, he made fun of Clinton and other Dems, but do you really think that our party is beyond some teasing? Was he supposed to stop making jokes while Clinton was in office?
