Of course, I've been half dumbfounded but elated all day about the results.

And I had a certain feeling - but I couldn't put my finger on it.

Now I remember - this is a little like how I felt the day after the Berlin Wall came down...Boris Yelstin out on the tanks...

the first time .. it had been 12 long years of Republican Administrations.

But I was raised fully believing the Soviet Union and USA would engage in Nuclear Mutually Assured Destruction.

2. My heart felt a touch lighter...one more inch towards getting our kids

back home and ending the daily horror in Iraq. I've always hated that my tax money has funded so much pain and suffering.

And the sky seemed bluer. :)
