WHY ARE THEY CALLING OHIO FOR BROWN WHEN THE POLLS ARE STILL OPEN?????

Pardon me for the all-caps -- that's a first for me.

Ohio polls don't close until 9:00 or 9:30 CT in some precincts of Cleveland and Columbus, both Democratic strongholds...but the networks are already telling viewers the race is over. There's still 1.5 - 2 hours left! What if Democratic voters decide to stay home, because they believe their vote isn't needed?

2. Polls closed at 7:30 eastern in Ohio

but several areas are being kept open until 9 or 9:30 because of machine issues. Votes cast after 7:30 are not due to be counbted until November 21!
