NEW HAMPSHIRE makes GOP stop using automatic calls

CONCORD, N.H. - The National Republican Congressional Committee agreed to stop placing automated telephone calls to New Hampshire residents on the federal do-not-call list, a state official said.

The committee voluntarily agreed Sunday to stop calling homes on the registry after a citizen complained to the state attorney general's office, which then spoke with the GOP group's lawyer in Washington.

Under state statute, political campaigns are allowed to contact people on the do-not-call list, but cannot use automated recordings.

The complaint was filed by Martha Child of Hillsborough, who said she received five calls in two days from the GOP committee even though she was on the federal do-not-call list. One of the calls features a woman who opens by saying "Hello. I'm calling with information about Paul Hodes." She goes on to criticize his position on taxes and ends by saying the call was paid for by the National Republican Congressional Committee, according to a tape recording released by the state Democratic Party.

3. Calling in NH was unpleasant this weekend.

Now I know why. Monday - Thursday I was having a good time, pleasant conversations, friendly voices. Friday and Saturday I got hung up on consistently. I stopped calling Sunday. Now it turns out that the cabal was going after likely Democratic voters with their robo-harassment calls. These clowns are vile and have no shame.

4. I've Called Our State Democrats... I Work With The Locals & They

know all about it... but NOTHING will be done here in Florida!! The AG is running for Governor and Jebby is almost glued to his hip!

Here in District 13, Cruella's "old" District, the Dem candidate is very much aware of this and she was with Bill Nelson yesterday in Bradenton, so if she or he won't push it why should I try anymore?? She has been ahead in the polls since the primaries, but who knows what our machines will show.

I have been unable to actually talk to anyone at the state level, just have to keep leaving messages. They haven't called me back yet, so maybe they gave up too!
