I tuned into the Chris Mathews show and turned away after he said that the races have tightened and that Pew Forcasted a 47 43 generic vote where Democrats had 47 and Republicans have 43 percent. Does this look legitimate?

I have suspected Chris Matthews aids the Republicans for quite a while. He might want to discourage Democrats from showing up. It will not work with me.

Sweetie, Republican women notoriously have no taste. They specialize in helmet hair, overdone eyes, blush like the scarlet fever, lips (always frighteningly thin) painted in the most offensive of clown reds. The skin looks parchment-dry in spite of, I'm sure, their best efforts. The shoes are sensible, the clothes un-tailored, and there are lots and lots of gold buttons in places there ought not to be. Frosted hair is a must...if not, shoe-polish black is a safe bet. They think Ivana Trump is "classy" and don't understand what all the fuss was over Jackie-O.
