1. not about defeatism,it is about reality base and seeing the long battle

ahead. not living in a fairy tale only to be disappointed, to give up on dem, to NOT see accomplishment because expectation is TOO high and then to do the dissing of the dems when reality is we are gaining, growing strong and really it is good. just cant see the good cause of the picture one creates in your mind. there is a difference between reality and big picture, illusion and pessimism.

From many quarters come the suggestion that this is a Dem WAVE that will sweep the country and sweep the repukes out of office. If Dems do well, but don't have a WAVE, it will be considered a sorry-showing once again by those, incompetent, hapless Dems. So, be optimistic and realistic, but don't set ourselves up for criticism for not getting what some predicted. It is a game well played by repuke pundits.
