RePUKES think the voters won't realize filthy Rove/Bush LIED about Kerry's comment

It's sinking in after all the coverage. Andrew Sullivan calls it a "new low" for these filthbags.

But it's also revealing about someone's character that he could authorize and exploit such a thing. Most fair-minded people will have to concede that, in retrospect, this was a very, very, very low blow. It hadn't sunk in for me till last night how low. In retrospect, this incident says much more about Bush than about Kerry. I'll bet I'm not the only one mulling that over this morning.

1. I was just about to post this
With this clip:

Maybe this story isn't over. I've been thoroughly persuaded by John Derbyshire and Christopher Hitchens that John Kerry's words were indeed a botched joke. The clincher for me was the actual prepared text, which I confess I hadn't seen till I watched the Daily Show (where I tend to get the news these days) last night. The actual text was that if you didn't work hard, "you end up getting us stuck in a war in Iraq. Just ask President Bush."

(Derbyshire??????????? John-Kill-Chelsey-Clinton-Derbyshire is giving Kerry the benefit of the doubt? And Hitchens too? Maybe there is a god.)

2. The obvious orchestration and overplaying exposed them more to people
who may have been willing to accept they fudge the truth at times - but are now just SICK of the TACTIC.

4. Yup and they tried to cut the story short before people figured it out but TOO LATE
It was out there long enough. More people know they're scumbag filth now.

3. They didn't really aim this charade at anyone but their base.
They want the red meat eaters whipped up into a froth. They may have played the game a little too early. Unless people are still posting about this idiocy on the left and the right on Monday.

5. Yes, they jumped on it too soon.
Kerry has a whole week to rebut them, and the Daily Show, Colbert Report, and cartoonists have had plenty of time to mock them. :D

So, I guess Bushler&Co will have to resort to nuking Iran? :hide:

6. Bush/Rove LIED ABOUT THE TROOPS
Kerry is secondary. The came up with a lie that subjected the troops to
a nasty slime.
