Time to shift focus everyone: HOUSE MAJORITY LEADER INSULTS TROOPS!
Tired of the media focus on a botched joke? How about demanding the media focus on a deliberate putdown of our military?

Please read and k&r this thread by wholetruth00:

"Don't blame Rumsfeld for what is happening in Iraq, blame the generals"

Boehner on CNN with Wolf. So now the Repubs want to blame the "generals?" Are the generals on the ground not part of the troops over there? Wolf didn't even blink.

I'd like to read the transcript to really nail that POS. Please spread this info and speak out against this hypocrisy!

it's just not happening. MSM is being very slow on the uptake, no surprise there.

7. I never heard this before. Duh. I wonder why.
Blame the generals?

Yes, this needs to get out there. K&R.

BTW, Boehner is certifiably nuts. He still gets out on the talking-head circuit, claiming there's WMD's in Iraq. I suppose because Rumsfeld said so.

24. LOL! Maybe he will have some tough, web-only text to show us donors too.
Edited on Wed Nov-01-06 06:47 PM by Dr Fate
A Press conference?

What cave has Reid been in?

Since when does the Republican owned media show any of our press conferences?

Press conferences are EASILY ignored by the media- Reid should know this by now. He will be lucky if one single channel even shows it once. At the most they will show 20 seconds of it.

He needs to go on several of those TV interview & debate shows and make DAMN SURE he gets air time- but I'll bet he is too frightened to stick his neck out.

Hate to be cynical, but the history of the last 6 years backs me up.

16. and just who is the COMMANDER 'n CHIEF of the generals?
If the generals 'screwed up' as Boehner has said, then the ultimate responsibility lies with their boss...

I've been waiting for one of the repubs to blame the generals... bush has been doing it for months with his "I listen to the generals..." pile of crap canned talking point

22. Good point! Doesn't Bonehead know Dumbya listens to the generals?
That puts Dumbya in a very unique position of being able to either verify or nullify Bonehead's claim!

Maybe someone should ask Dumbya a question about it.

27. Absolutely, where's McCain?
Boehner is sticking to the low road, trying to blame the mess in Iraq on our overworked, overstressed troops. He should be ashamed, but knowing him, he isn't.
