GOP diapproval aside, Dems actually have some great candidates...

There are a number of Dem Senatorial candidates I would be proud to vote for. Jon Tester, Jim Webb, Sherrod Brown and Ned Lamont. I like Amy Klobuchar quite a bit too; I thought she was clearly light years more impressive than her opponent when they debated on Timmy's show. I like Claire McCaskill quite a bit, as well. Harold Ford is running a fantastic campaign, is definitely a charismatic guy too.

Sure many of them I do not totally agree with, like Ford is definitely further Right than I am, but all in all it's a pretty good group. Like here in AZ, I'm going to be proud to vote for Jim Pederson. He's hung in there with Jon Kyl all the way when nobody thought he could. He's got a definite shot, sure it is a tough one, but he's run a solid campaign. I like Jim quite a bit. It took me a little bit to warm up to him but he has really been getting after Kyl lately, and running some great ads. Too little too late? Maybe, but he's done himself, and our party, proud.

I think for the most part all of our candidates have. They have conducted themselves with class and dignity in the face of some of the most despicable people around. (Rush Limbaugh, George Allen and Conrad Burns, ugh!) So yeah, I like our current crop of candidates, I don't agree with them all on everything and none are perfect, but we have some good people out there fighting for our party. I am truly proud of that.
