Today is payday for many. Who can we help for the final week?
This morning, I've sent a few bucks to Bill Winter, Angie Paccione & Ken Gordon (Secretary of State, CO).
I have a few extra bucks. Any suggestions?

I have been delivering sample ballots, yard signs, etc. to my precinct the past few weeks. On Election Day, I am at the beck & call of my local Democratic Party. Whatever they need, I am there to help.

Oh & I pissed off one of my friends when I told her "Bad politicians are elected by good people who don’t vote.” To make up, I sent her an email with links to check if she's registered, a site that lists the county & state ballot issues, & a site that reviews the candidates. She wrote back & thanked me becasue she didn't realize her small town is voting on public library funding. :eyes:

Honestly, this is the second friend of mine that was going to sit out this election. :wtf:

2. Bryan Kennedy needs money for ads to beat Sensenbrenner
Bryan was endorsed by Wisconsin's largest newspaper last week and he has MOMENTUM. Money for television ads would build visibility and push him over the top!

3. Jason Altmire !!!!!!
He's pulled to within 4 points of that Bush-bootlicker Melissa Hart. I think the anti-Santorum vote will help allot, but enough to put him over?? I just sent him $100.

At least that's the way it always shows in the movies. Is that the standard? Or are businesses free to choose monthly or weekly?

5. It's usually either a weekly, bi-weekly or twice a month system.
In my working career I've experienced both the bi-weekly and the twice a month system (15th & the last day).

My husband's company recently switched from every friday to every other friday.

6. it all depends on who you work for
some jobs pay weekly, typically minimum wage jobs like fast food or retail.

some pay bi-monthly, on the 15th and 30th/31st, usually salaried jobs.

some (like my wife's) pay every second Friday.

theres no real standard, just whatever your employer wants to do.
