Wish you could all watch the Florida Gubernatorial debate tonight
Tweety is moderating the debate between r-Crist and D-Jim Davis, even Max Linn the Reform candidate was shuffled in at the last minute by court order. It's embarrassing because they've put him at a mismatched podium off to the side like he's the ugly stepchild.

It's a great debate that I'm sure will end up on youtube or C&L's later on.

3. Crist is giving all "safe" answers while Davis is attacking.
I didnt know much about Jim Davis, but he seems intelligent and is kicking butt. Hope he wins.

9. Now I'm glad they put Linn at the kid's table
Socialist, socialist! Blah, blah blah...
What a greedy Rand-reading asshole. Going for the lowest common denominator.
I'd vote for Crist before Linn.

moderator too. I don't live in Fl. but if I did, I'd sure vote for the Dem. It sounded to me like Christ as the current AG didn't do a very good job, and even tried to hide the crime rate in one of his answers. Crime is down...oh yea, murder is up but crime is down!

Thank gooodness Chris didn't let him off that hook!

11. i watched the whole thing and i know i'm way biased but---
Crist came off as really weak, the other guy was like Pat Buchanan only more awful and Davis i thought did well, he didn't let off the pedal once.

13. I couldn't stop rolling on the floor after the republican
expressed his deep committment to the idea that marriage was between a man and a woman and how he thought of marriage in the traditional way--the way his parents were married and the way he considered his marriage BEFORE HE BECAME DIVORCED!! What a buffoon.

17. Yeah...with a paper trail, isn't the receipt supposed to fall in a box?
I don't see why Jim couldn't explain it like that. The whole point of a paper trail is a paper recount. They don't give you a receipt to take to your corporate/union boss. Jim could have handled that question much better.

18. I watched it and Davis won that debate,
HANDS DOWN. Crist seems uninformed, he was caught LYING about campaign contributions from Insurance companies, he LIED about the crime rate and he thinks Jeb and the idiot are both doing a good job! How ridiculous is THAT? The Reform Party guy, Linn was obnoxious. I'm just sayin'...the guy had a hard time following rules.;)
