According to Cheney, al-Qaida is monitoring our election

Cheney says rise in Iraq violence timed to influence elections

WASHINGTON (AP) Vice President Dick Cheney said today the increase of violence in Iraq is linked with efforts to influence the outcome of midterm elections in which Republicans are struggling to keep control of Congress.

Its my belief that theyre very sensitive of the fact that weve got an election scheduled and they can get on the Web sites like anybody else, Cheney said. He said al-Qaida and other elements were trying to break the will of the American people because they think we dont have the stomach for the fight long-term.

Asked if the attacks were timed to influence the U.S. elections, Cheney said, Thats my belief.

Eight days before the elections, Cheney sat down for interviews for Fox News Channels `Your World with Neil Cavuto and CNBCs Kudlow & Company.

2. EVERYBODY is watching this election. Some to see if they
steal it again. Some to see if American's are out of their minds and put the bastard's back in charge. And some to see if we've regained our sanity and throw them out on their asses. And maybe even jail a few, as should be done.

Let's not fool ourselves. We've become the political laughingstock of the planet Earth.

3. Solution: Immediate news blackout of all election-related items
Fightin' them over there, 9/11 changed everything, don't want the terrorists to win, mushroom clouds, etc., etc.

That about cover it, Mr. Cheney? Sorry to steal all your best lines like that. Maybe now you don't have to go on the air for the rest of the campaign?

5. OK, let's make the results a SECRET! That will get Osama, huh?
in fact, let's not tell Americans, since growing numbers of them are becoming anti-American, peacenik,Ayrab-loving, traitorous, Democrat Party liberals.

6. Well, I for one am happy SOMEONE is...
With reports of election fraud coming in from Florida, Missouri, and other states, I'm happy someone is watching. It's painfully obvious that election officials and politicians in the USA aren't...

Now, what can al-Qaeda do to fix our system?

10. so if 'DICK' says it on Faux News it MUST be true....
for the Repug faithful it would seem to be a bit like letting Homer Simpson loose in a Dunkin Donuts - not quite the Rapture but darn close.
