Don't look now but MSNBC's coverage is painting Bush & the Republican
party as the Come-back kids.

Tune in. I've had it on for the last hour and it sounds like they're trying to sell the perception that he's single handedly succeeding to wake up his supporters. Revitalizing, as per Karl Rove's instructions.

14. I do too. CNN had a staunch repub on this morning who's voting Dem.
He had a pic with him & the Ronald. Never voted for a Dem. He said that Bush* had set our country back 100 Years with the war! He said he is voting for Democrat this election. I think this could be prevalent thru the country, I hope so anyway. The Iraq War will not go away in a week.

9. I know, but I think what they're trying to do is to make sure their
supporters vote, and don't stay home. They need that because it will look suspicious if they steal Democratic votes, without a good number of Republicans actually showing up to vote.

4. check it out= Sunday NYTimes had pix of Jr. in a crowd in Indiana. Only place he could
Edited on Mon Oct-30-06 12:23 PM by cryingshame
muster a crowd. And it was older folks.

Today they have a pix of him in S. Carolina IIRC and its a tight shot. You KNOW he couldn't draw a decent crowd there, hence the tight shot.

Yup, they are trying really hard to make Bush look like he can rally support.

10. MSNBC has him with many, many more hand-picked groups.
Soundbite of the week: "I'm not saying they're unpatriotic. I'm saying they're wrong."

Huge crowd pleaser.

11. This should surprise no one
Jack Welch when he controlled GE was a die-hard bush supporter, and his followers are obviously doing the same thing since they refused to air a commercial for the Dixie Chicks movie

ABC runs a propaganda peice on 9/11 blaming it on Bill Clinton

After six years people should realize what is occurring, especially labor, unions, and "soccer ball moms"

Nothing will surprise me though, however, if we come out in numbers and vote we will win, and if we don't there will be no tears from me because people deserve exactly what they get

Terror,Taxes,Same Sex Marriage and abortion, and religion. Pathetic. Never mind the mess in Iraq, our Dead and maimed soldiers, Katrina, Terri Schivio, and pork spending- just for starters.

thrilled at the prospects for the GOP.

Most voters are at work or watching soaps right now.

Boy, do they. Without KO, it could rightfully be called the Republican views network.

27. Most curious.
It's like they're trying to buck the trend to vote towards the left, by helping the Repubs revitalize the right.

21. It's an illusion. They are creating their own reality.
As posted previously on another thread:

The aide said that guys like me were "in what we call the reality-based community," which he defined as people who "believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality." I nodded and murmured something about enlightenment principles and empiricism. He cut me off. "That's not the way the world really works anymore," he continued. "We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality -- judiciously, as you will -- we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do."

22. It'd be great to see who, exactly, would make such a shift at this time.
Because these would be the type of voter who only wants to vote for "the winner" and cares about nothing else.

there's no way the repukes can turn these numbers around before the election. The Dems will pick up 20 seats in the House and it looks like we'll have a 50/50 Senate! Charlie Cook from The Cook Report.

24. Gergen was saying the close races will swing Republican - no mention of
election fraud tactics, of course.

Election fraud is now solely the domain of Hugo Chavez and leftists interefring in US elections, according to our corporate media.
