"Both" sides get nasty?
I can't believe it - I just saw a piece on MSRNC with a graphic saying 'BOTH sides get nasty in political ads.'

BOTH? Since when is telling the truth nasty?

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3096434 /

Watch the clip at the above link (click on 'campaign ads get downright nasty') and tell me if the Democratic ads, which tell the truth, are nasty at all! Meanwhile, the Repuke ads they show exaggerate and lie by innuendo.

I am so sick of the MSM. When they can't defend the Repuke's lies, they try to say that both parties are the same.

1. Hey - they're just trying to be "fair"!
Present a short snippit of the TRUTH the Democrats tell, and then have a LENGTHY segment of REPUKE LIES!

Just like the PRIMETIME, UNEDITED airing of bush*s CAMPAIGN APPEARANCES for repukes, but NOTHING even approaching similar air-time for us Democrats!

2. That wacky liberal media
Bottom line:

- republican ads are nasty because they lie
- democratic ads are nasty because they tell the truth

I think it was Adlai Stevenson who said, "I'll stop telling the truth about republicans when they stop lying about democrats."

3. Wow - what a great quote.
So the repukes have been evil that long, huh? That's pretty sad.

And remember what President Clinton said Newt Gingrinch (sic) told him:

"I hated to do you like that, but if we fought you fair you'd win every time."

9. And it was Truman that said
"I don't give the Republicans hell. I just tell the truth and they think it's hell."
