Rove: “I am from Texas — I am a simple boy”

http://www.cantonrep.com/index.php?ID=316399&Category=2...

<snip>

Associates say Rove is privately frustrated that individual candidates have not been more aggressive drawing contrasts with Democrats on national security. In Buffalo, Rove dished out red meat with relish, pausing in the middle of an attack on Democrats for their votes against Bush’s anti-terrorism policies to needle Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid for a recent controversy in Nevada. “You may have read about his land swaps,” Rove noted dryly.

Rove sarcastically questioned Rep. John Murtha’s plan for pulling troops out of Iraq and creating a rapid-response force to deal with contingencies in the Middle East, possibly at the American base in Okinawa. “I am from Texas — I am a simple boy,” Rove joked, before noting that Okinawa is close to 5,000 miles from Baghdad.

“It is foolishness to suggest that this is a real plan for America,” Rove said. “The real plan is this: Fight, beat ’em, win.”

5. "Fight, beat 'em, win" my ass
Could anyone actually believe that the soft chubby effeminate looking Rove has ever been in a fight in his life. Like in grade school where his life was one perpetual wedgie.

6. Rove's real plan
is to fight, beat, and win against Terror, an abstract noun.

Ok, simple Texas boy, show me Terror's throat, that I might slit it.

And I sincerely doubt he served up red meat to his base, as he is best known for his cream of bullshit soup.

8. He's not a simple boy from Texas.
He's an agnostic, born in Denver and raised in Nevada.

These guys will say anything to try and connect with common 'Murkins'.

10. Once again....
some one not from Texas pretending to be Texan. LBJ: real Texan, George and Dubya Bush: NOT. Ann Richards: real Texan Carl Rove:NOT. I hope this clears things up for anyone that might be confused.

And in spite of the insult, we aren't all as "simple" as that pig would like to you to believe.

They don't call him turd blossom because he looks like a flower, and this just another example.

So is that the new "stay the course"?

20. right, born in CO, lived in NV then mostly in UT until later adulthood
when he started stinking up my state of Texas.

Now he likes to say he's a "Texan", just like that poseur that he works for.

Like we don't look bad enough down here.

Ugh.

16. Simple Is Right!
We WAY(!!!!) overestimate this troll. He has never had anything other than ambition and connections. That is not a substitute for talent. His legacy will be that of a mafioso.

17. Rove is not a friggin genius!!
I think he is just evil. He lies, cheats and steals to get the Republicans in power. Those are not genius qualities. It does not even take a high IQ to do immoral things. He just came up with the idea to do a snow job on the Christian Right to get them out there to vote on the abortion and gay marriage issues. He exploits faith and the sheeple continuously fall for it.

Why can't these bottom feeders just leave Texas out of it. They give us REAL ass Texans a bad name.

This also goes to show inbreeding can be a problem in parts of Texas unfortunately.

on edit: whew he's from Utah, which goes to show inbreeding can be a problem in parts of Utah unfortunately
