Sorry Wolf ,you're late, there can only be one leader of the pack

On CNN, Lou Dobbs and Wolf Blitzer where recalling the Lynne Cheney interview.
Lou Dobbs praised Wolf Blitzer for speaking truth against power and Wolf was happy as a whelp: Thank you very much he agreed.

Wolf stood beside Lou as someone who was being honored, by mistake, for saving a child from a freezing river.
Proud, but a little uncomfortable, because he knew it wasnt him. Unfortunately, it was already to late to tell.
The real hero, of course, was and is, at MSNBC.

How absurd, two journalists complimenting each other, in broad daylight, on telling the truth.
Like a silly Monty Python scene, in which two journalists are patting each other on the shoulders for speaking the truth:

Cleese: Dear fellow, you spoke the good old truth! Splendid! Well done chap!
Chapman: Oh how kind of you. Thank you. Say, didnt you write a truthful article the other day?
Cleese: Yes, actually I did! Thank you for bringing that up, Cheers!
Chapman: Well done!
And so on and on and on and on and on ...

In the coming months, perhaps years, more in the mainstream media will follow Wolfs example.
I think so, and it will be a positive thing. But I will always remember who the first hero was in those days, in these days.

1. It is most absurd isn't it
that they would have to be praised for telling the truth. I feel the same way about our congresspeople. They should be calling us to convince us what they are taking a stand on is right instead of me having their office numbers on speed dial.

Isn't that SPECIAL? :eyes:

Keith Olbermann is the ONLY journalist who bothered to do his job.

4. Got to hand it to Wolf. His responses to Cheney's
denials were right on. Of course Olberman is the true hero, but someone has to lead the battle for the truth and he took the high road. Let's hope those that have the 'voice' will follow.
