MSNBC going "all politics, all day" from Monday through the election
At least that's what their news release says:

http://www.nbcumv.com/release_detail.nbc/msnbc-20061027...

Following up on our hugely successful all politics day on Tuesday, October 24, MSNBC will be devoting all of its daytime programming to politics for the week leading into Election Day. As candidates across the country sprint to the finish line, MSNBC will be there with the latest information and most insightful interviews. Beginning on October 30 through Election Day, MSNBC will present non-stop politics with MSNBC Election Anchor and "Hardball" Host Chris Matthews anchoring, along with MSNBC's Keith Olbermann, Joe Scarborough, Tucker Carlson, Norah O'Donnell and others.

Once again, NBC Nightly News Anchor Brian Williams, NBC News Washington Bureau Chief and "Meet the Press" Moderator Tim Russert, NBC News Chief White House Correspondent David Gregory, NBC News Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent Andrea Mitchell and "Weekend Today" Anchors Lester Holt and Campbell Brown will also anchor coverage throughout the week.

Well, we'll soon see how true this is. They implied that Keith would be part of their Oct. 24 day of politics, but aside from his usual show gig, he was not there. The implication here seems to be that he will definitely anchor at some point during the day in the coming week.

2. I hope my mother remembers to take a break from time to time
to eat something. She's such a political junkie she makes me look apathetic.

3. They put some of the crappiest people on.
Mary scary Matlin, and an assortment of other weirdos. I don't enjoy the program at all. I wrote an e-mail about them not including Oberman. They must be getting scared.

6. Uh...huh... GE/MSRNC will be spewing disinformation and running Repug
Ads all day while they claim how dastardly the ads are. Watch and see if you see any good Dem Ads that they will show against the Attack Repug ads.

I tried to watch their all day Politics show this week and it was dreadful.

Thank goodness their viewing numbers aren't high because they could be accused of "election engineering." That's if we had any real media oversight. :-(
