"More crooked than a Republican Senator"
I heard that at work yesterday when a co-worker was criticizing a dog-legged ditch to the backhoe operator.

2. Perhaps a long-chain hydrocarbon molecule...
Such as an Oil (how appropriate), Plastic or Protein? Other than that I can't imagine anything with as many twists and crooks (resulting in overall crookedness) as Republican politicians (though all prominent Republicans are crooked, even those who aren't politicians). In this case, though, it must be remembered that "crookedness" is analogous to corruption/dishonesty/cheating/criminal behavior/etc.

A crooked Republican with a crooked walking stick and a crooked wallet, walked a crooked mile to a crooked lobbyist for some crooked dollars so he could engage in a crooked campaign to win a crooked election and continue his crooked political career, but in his crooked mind, his crooked ways were probably perceived crookedly as being free of crookedness... What a crooked web he weaves.
