If a legless vet protested the Iraq war would the repubs mock him?

Of course they would, what a silly question. Recently a legless Iraq war vet ran on his new fake legs with his commander in chief in front of the white house for a photo op, exploitation of a disability if there ever was one.

But if a contemporary Ron Kovik came forward, or a Max Cleland, to protest bush's horrific unnecessary war, a vet who had lost legs in Iraq for his country, would rush limpdick mock his suffering?

Of course he would, what a silly question. They would say of the imaginary legless Iraq war veteran, "he should be ashamed of himself for betraying his commander and chief and his nation and his comrades who fell", they'd call him a traitor, they'd accuse him of exploiting his own affliction for a political agenda and they would come up with cute little insulting names and jokes about the person, just like they did to Cindy Sheehan who lost a son in Iraq.

And when this imaginary but all too real legless vet from the Iraq war soon comes forward to denounce the war he lost his legs and comrades in, prepare for the insults, mocking, and derision, and look to the usual compassionate suspects.

Its okey dokey to exploit Terry Schaivo's suffering for political gain, but it's hunky dorey to mock Michael J. Fox's disease. It's fine to exploit the dead and crippled for promoting the war, but NOT for denouncing it.
