Any recent news on Anthrax threats in the US?
Edited on Wed Oct-25-06 01:58 PM by hpot
I've read about an Anthrax threat originating from a government lab. Does anyone have more info? I've also heard about voting machine vendors threatened and Keith Olbermann. Does anyone have new information?

8. Sorry no link
It is probably just an Internet conspiracy rumour. I can't find any reliable online reports of fake anthrax letters sent to companies like Diebold, ES&S, or Hart Intercivic.

2. Someone at the LA Times got a letter with white powder yesterday
Edited on Wed Oct-25-06 02:09 PM by MindPilot
I think that's correct--it was on the teevee newz this morning. The powder turned out to be some food additive (salt? baking soda?) and the accompanying letter was signed.

4. Is evacuation always mandatory?

So any moron can shut down a business and send their employees to the hospital? There should be better ways to test for that stuff.

5. Yeah pretty much...which is why I think this whole terrorism thing
is a big scam.

All anyone has to do is make a phone call. Phone in bomb threats to five major airports and the Department of Homeland Cowardice & Overreaction would shut down our entire air transportation system. Same for subways, highways, bus lines, banks, theme parks, stadiums, you name it.

We are the ones who let the terrorists win by allowing ourselves to be terrorized.

6. Any news on who perpetrated the 2001 anthrax attacks in America?
They didn't simply stop investigating that one, I'm sure, since the war on terror is so important and all, right?

7. Thom Hartmann and Alex Jones were discussing that today.
It was the last hour of Thom's show - 2:00 EDT. Check his site.
