DE PERE, Wis. First lady Laura Bush is campaigning in northeastern Wisconsin at this hour.
Her first stop as she campaigns for Republican congressional candidate John Gard was Seroogy's Chocolate in De Pere ... where she bought just under a pound of chocolate-covered apricots as a Halloween treat. Mrs. Bush told clerk Clair Sidwell she would be taking them back to the president.

It will be the first lady's second appearance this year on behalf of Sodrel, who is in a tight re-election effort against former Democratic Rep. Baron Hill in southern Indiana's 9th District.

First Lady, Laura Bush made a stop in El Paso Wednesday. Bush was invited as the guest of honor for the Dee Margo fundraiser campaign. Margo is running for the 29th Senatorial District of Texas under the Republican party.

The private plane with Bush touched down at the El Paso International Airport at 10:30 a.m. where a caravan of Secret Service Special Agents were waiting for the her.
