The Republic running for the city council in my city had his mommy
send me a potholder and a note telling me how wonderful her boy is. Buying my vote with a potholder, i'm a tad insulted. Anyhow you know they're in deep shit when they're having their moms send you nice notes about them.

By close-as-makes-no-difference slave labor.

But, to be fair, city councils aren't really called on to deal with such issues.

it's a really poor quality pot holder to add insult to injury.

4. So, why don't you return it with a note
saying you're insulted that your vote could be bought with a potholder. Obviously, mommy mistook you for a Republican.
