DU forgive me, it has been a couple of months since my last Good News post. Nevertheless, I'm back, to post all of the progressive goodness that has taken place since that time. Some you may be aware of, some not...so enjoy! (NOTE: It is REALLY hard to find positive stuff in the news!)

More importantly, this is because the depths of GOP corruption are finally coming to light. And in two weeks, for the first time in history,
the most powerful person in our government will be female. When Nancy Pelosi ascends to the house speakership, the Senate will be closely divided, the Chief Justice is still new, and the President has already been a lame duck for some time.
Overall, the ramifications are that the leadership of the House of Representatives will be much more diverse..like the United States of America.
