I have a family member who got pregnant via incest. What's even wierder is I grew up with Peter Roskam. He knows our family well - it is beyond belief he would think this was okay... he is an indoctrinated fundy. He grew up like that and has swallowed it like a woman wearing a burkha in Pakistan.

24. Tammy supporter FAR outnumbered Roskam supporters at the debate I attended

The big applause was for Tammy, by far. I felt very comfortable being there even though I was standing at the back. I got there a bit late because of the traffic coming back from protesting Roskam's appearance with Bu$h and Hastert at the Hilton in Chicago.

Tammy has a LOT of charisma. I know there is a huge population of Cegelis supporters who can't get over the primary, but I've met both of the candidates, and Tammy has that "star" quality. In this district, I'm not sure Cegelis could have broken thru the Rethug miasma that hangs over Dupage Co. It took someone like Tammy, imho (and her cash via the DCCC - yikes, ducking from the flames!).
