This race is closer than I thought. Maybe Jim Davis can pull it out...

It's beginning to turn around. The repugs have been running some nasty negative ads, they may be backfiring.

|
And I do mean the machine.

Sorry, but last I saw, Davis was down double digits. I'm just wonder if this is a repuatable poll.

I did notice that Davis has more campaign ads on TV lately and he's started talking about how the Repubs screwed us with the homeowners insurance (something EVERYONE cares about, since we all have sticker shock now. My insurance went up 110% after Wilma, and it was already $1900).
The thing is, with it being so close, it makes it easy as pie for the Republicans to steal it. Rep. Wexler (my congressman) is taking his "Verified Voting" suit to the Supreme Court, but it won't be decided in time for the election. So, basically, if it's a margin of 2%, you have to assume that Crist is going to rig it. I'm never sure whether absentee balloting is better, since so many of them seem to disappear too.

| 15. Charlie Crist's Orientation Is His Business... |
|
It's a coup he has gotten this far in Florida Republican politics...
This is the same Republican party where Mel Martinez blasted Bill McCollum in the 2004 primaries for voting to include sexual orientaion to anti-discrimination laws.
