Does anyone know where I can find TV ratings?
I am arguing with a freeper who says Faux is the most popular news channel in the US. I know this is not true but I don't know where to go to find that info.

Thanks.

2. TV Newser...

They have the latest 12-54 and 18-34 numbers. Faux is the most watched (popularity doesn't mean watched) Cable news channel. Its competition is CNN, CNBC and MSNBC. Their ratings aren't compared to the major networks or to other more watched cable channels. For example, Faux averages 1.5-2 million viewers a night...about the same as the local newscast in New York and far less than the 20 million who still watch a network newscast or the 5 million who are tuned into ESPN.

Yep, Faux leads the other cable news channels, but that's more due to their lack of quality programming and attempts by both CNN and MSNBC to become Faux Lite.

3. Rasslin get higher ratings than O'Reilly
Hell, my local news gets higher ratings in it's time slot than Faux does.

4. Media Bistro gets them from Neilsen
I think they use Fox as a nightlight or something; It is the highest.

5. Moyers was More Popular on PBS
Just a note: when Bill Moyers was on "NOW," Moyers's ratings were higher than Bill O'Reilly's. That information used to be available on PBS, I think. No cable channel is more than a small fraction of the broadcast networks' ratings. As for talk shows, no one is anywhere near as popular as Oprah Winfrey. She is still #1.
