Pelosi does not want to be president.
At least not by impeaching both Bush and Cheney. I think this is the reason why she has said we will not impeach them if the Democrats take the house. She thinks it would be political suicide for her. And it probably would be.

12. Frankly, She'll Be a Great President, Too
She may have to just bite the bullet and do the job--Bush is cutting off all other options!

like she doesn't think it would be good of the nation just remember that I am speculating here, so don't take what I "think" she thinks too seriously

8. For a politician, yes.
I think Democrats are better than Republicans, but they're still politicians, they're not going to commit political suicide just like that.

11. The only thing I enjoy more than the prospect of Pelosi as President...
Is watching all of the hubris at the prospect... All this squirming, cringing, and flinching keeps me going. Exactly how would it be political suicide for her?
