"Breaking: NBC Staff Slash: Tucker Carlson & Rita Cosby Axed"
http://www.jossip.com/gossip/nbc/breaking-nbc-staff-slash-tucker-carlson-rita-cosby-axed-20061020.php

What, you thought the fun was over? Nope! As part of "NBC 2.0" (read: staff slashing), we're hearing MSNBC talking head Tucker Carlson is out the door in what's perhaps one of the biggest, though least surprising, shifts by the network. Meanwhile, FTVLive is reporting that Rita Cosby, who's already taken a backseat role after being removed from her primetime talking head gig, will also be without a home. Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, we hear, will hang on to their seven-figure deals.

Though keep in mind this is currently unconfirmed rumor.

3. Well, when the rumors are confirmed
I'll shoot them an "I'm sorry" email, hopefully they'll have access?

*wink*

2. I thought it was especially sad when Tucker came out swinging
yesterday saying the rumor was "Bullshit". And he was adamant too!

4. I've said it so many times,
Abrams could turn MSNBC into a Democratic channel flame fest and he would have runaway ratings.

I just don't know what the hell he's thinking. He's f'ing up a gold mine.

6. Well i noticed in update 1 Abrams didn't say "Yes we're keeping Carlson"
that says more than it doesn't say.

8. That's wonderful news, if true!
I have begged them, in hundreds of e-mails and not a few snail mails, to dump those two losers. How gratifying.

With Pucker's all right wing crazy, all the time, these past few weeks, losing him would be a blessing.

Of course, I also asked, over and over, for the immediate expulsion of Scarborough the rat, and, the next time he goes off his meds, Tweety the slobbering hairball.

I'll take whatever improvement I can get.

9. Don't believe anything Jossip says without proof.
Remember, they're still the sleazebags who think the crap about Keith Olbermann is true. I would wait for a formal announcement from MSNBC before I started celebrating. Especially because Dan Abrams has already flat-out denied to Radar that Tucker is going anywhere.

The good news? Abrams did NOT say Rita wasn't going anywhere...

11. hold on now, thats not what Abrams was quoted as saying
he said

"We have made no decisions about any possible programming change"

no where in that sentence do i read "We're keeping Tucker for sure"

12. Didn't he say something about how valuable Tucker was?
To even single Tucker out for how valuable he is sort of implies that Tucker isn't going anywhere...but as for Rita all bets are off.
