On being "ethical" at all costs.
This is something I've discussed with one of my friends for months now. She says that if you promise something to somebody at some point, you're supposed to keep the promise EVEN IF this person turns out to behave unethically against you. I don't get this. If somebody behaves unethically against me all my previous promises and loyalties are gone... Perhaps I'm just a little twit :)

1. .
It depends I would say. One could actually show them who the better man or in this case woman is ;).
When everyone else in the world is an unethical prick, it might mean even more if you are the one who still has principles.

2. childish ethics
ethics is not about rules, it's about consequences that do harm or do good, and the motivation to bring about those consequences
