Please critique my LTTE on Iraq

In recent months, it seems one of the new Republican Talking Points on Iraq is that we must stay the course because Osama bin Laden has declared Iraq is the central front in his war against the West. Yes, you read that correctly, the White House says we have to stay in Iraq because Osama says we must. No wonder the CIA is now saying it was clear that the taped message bin Laden released a few days before the 2004 elections was clearly designed to help Bush, because it seems that if bin Laden says to “jump,” George Bush says, “How high?” Maybe for his next trick, Osama will ask Bush to legitimize the Taliban. Oh wait, Senate Republican leader Bill Frist recently called for that very thing. How deep into the Republican Party do Osama’s tentacles extend?
