We are fixing to get some big old rain storms probably within the hour.

1. My thoughts are with you all
I know that so many are still living in tents and many others in homes whose repairs are not complete. :grouphug:

2. We got them earlier
here in Lake Charles.

Power's been out in parts of the town for several hours.

Between the storms on Monday, yesterday and today, at my house, I've gotten over 18 inches. Lots of street and low lying flooding.

I think your's is a front going through, so it shouldn't last too long or dump too much rain, but watch out for the wind.

Peace

3. I hope my sister-in-law's house in Lacombe doesn't flood.
She has a slab-on-grade home on a lot with a big creek at the back of the property. Amazingly, the house did not flood during Katrina but, a few years ago, a big storm dumped a lot of rain in a short time and the water came up to within 1/8 inch of the finished floor elevation of the house.
:scared:

I hope that y'all will be OK! Take care BOSS! :hi:

4. We got pelted here in Houston (and surrounding areas) this week...
with these rains. As a result the bayous and waterways are higher than normel. The one heading your way causes more flooding in Liberty county. They had to evacuate folks. batten down the hatches.
