Simply amazing. The guy who got stung gets more air time than
Clinton did yesterday.
What's wrong with this picture?

MIAMI, Florida (Reuters) -- A leaping stingray stabbed an 81-year-old Florida boater in the chest, authorities said Wednesday, leaving its poisonous stinger lodged close to his heart in an incident recalling the one that killed Australian TV naturalist Steve Irwin last month.

3. Every day? Sure. I must be missing his appearances.
I was just noting the priorities exhibited by the media whores.
I guess our priorities differ.

7. I saw several, prolonged clips of Clinton's speeches yesterday on TV.
He's getting good press.

I don't think the stingray is keeping him off the news.

2. Does anyone find it odd that a bottom dweller would leap out of
the water and attack a man in a boat? These rays live hovering just above the ocean bottom. They do not jump out of the water like some dolphin. What in the world is going on? This planet is going nuts.

Seen it with my own eyes.

also: http://www.arkive.org/species/GES/fish/Aetobatus_narinari/more_info.html

"Large groups of spotted eagle rays may be seen outside of the breeding season. These rays swim close to the surface and can occasionally be seen jumping clear out of the water (known as ‘breaching')"

6. Rays do come to the surface.

I was out in a small boat with my ex and his cousin off the coast of RI when I saw a large triagle (looked like a big fin)swerving through the water. As it passed us by my first though was "oh thank god- not a shark" and my second was " WOW- that has got to be the coolest thing I have ever seen on the water" I think it was a huge Manta-ray.

I found this site with some info on Rays
